Interested In Becoming A Substitute Teacher?

Substitute teachers are engaged on an ad-hoc basis to cover the duties of WAB teachers.  They are not permanent employment and are required as and when necessary, e.g. when a WAB teacher calls in sick or is required to attend a meeting.  At WAB, substitute teachers with prior teaching experience and teaching qualifications are preferred.

Server & Client Manager

Reporting to the IT Manager, the successful incumbent will oversee the school's Xservers, XRaids, XSAN and client deployment system for the school's laptop machines (Macs). The person will be expected to work collaboratively with the IT team, business and educational leaders to discover problems, identify solutions and roll-out initiatives.  [click more]

Nurse (0.5 FTE)

The school is now seeking suitable candidates for the job of a school nurse in the Elementary School.  This is a half-time position at 0.5 FTE and will be required to start work in the first week of January 2009.  The successful incumbent should fit the following criteria:

- Registered nurse in their home country
- 3 - 5 years of nursing practice
- Excellent English language skills
- Warm and pleasant personality
- Positive attitude and abilty to teamwork
- Currently living in Beijing
- Relevant experience with elementary children an advantage

Admissions Assistant (High School)

There is an immediate opening for an Admissions Assistant.  Reporting to the Admissions Manager, the position will focus on supporting the Admissions administrative responsibilities in the High School.  The successful candidate should fit the following criteria:

- Proficient in written and oral Chinese/or other language skills
- Strong in both written and oral English language skills
